Biography
Dr. Brijesh Shankarrao Deshmukh is a Full-Time Assistant Professor of English with over sixteen years of dedicated service in higher education. A distinguished academician, researcher, and soft-skills trainer, his work spans English language and literature, discourse analysis, communication studies, organisational behaviour, and personality development.
He earned his Ph.D. in English (Grade A) from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2019, with his doctoral thesis on “Discourse Analysis of Chetan Bhagat's Selected Novels and Their Film Adaptations” — an interdisciplinary inquiry bridging literary studies, media studies, and sociolinguistics.
In addition to his primary teaching responsibilities, Dr. Deshmukh serves as a University Examiner for S.P.P.U. and Y.C.M.O.U., a Coordinator of college magazines, and a recognised Trainer of Soft Skills and Communication Skills for undergraduate students and professionals. He was awarded the State Level Prize at Avishkar-2018 by Savitribai Phule Pune University for outstanding academic research.
